Fiercely loyal to a tee, Sub-Lieutenant Andie Graham is still not aware that the Daedalus has cut all ties with the SDF. Operating under the illusion that he/she is on a federation-sanctioned mission, he/she becomes an invaluable asset with his/her unique skill set, enchanting the whole crew with his/her innocent charm on the way!

Andie is placed on the Daedalus along with Derek in the event that Finola and Chao do not make it on-board. His/her varied skill set allows him/her to perform a variety of roles, and several auxiliary skills ensure that (s)he outperforms any competitor in her field.

Andie earns 4 for every successful trade with merchants.

• Trait: Androgynous

Can flirt and do the thing with characters of both genders. Cannot become Pregnant.

Skill	Description

2 Devotion	Increases the amount of gained from Commander-given missions by 2 .
3 Polyvalent	Grants many bonuses of Biologist, Botanist and Diplomat minus their special actions and resources.
4 Confident	Allows other characters to confide into you once a day, restoring 2 to them while revealing their recent actions to you.
5 Expert	Improves the success chance of any chance-based action at the expense of increasing the likelihood of injury and becoming Dirty.

Former investigative journalist, her goal is to contact any rebel bases still operating. One of the most observant crewmembers, she is as brilliant as she is honest, but don't worry – that can be cured!

Eleesha is the primary detective of the Daedalus crew, her role being the detection of Mush using her various tools such as Tracker and Observant. As the second-in-line for the Communications Officer title, and by the utility of her other skills, she also remains useful to the crew after her Mush-hunting role has been fulfilled.

Eleesha gains +2 per Rebel Base that she contacts.

• Trait: Chronic Vertigo

Begins the game with the Chronic Vertigo illness, unable to pilot ships until cured by a Shrink.

2 Determined	Speeds up the rate at which action success chances increase after subsequent failures.
3 Observant	Allows to search rooms for free and to detect Covert actions 25% of the time.
4 IT Expert	Grants 2 daily, which can be used in a myriad of ways, including Research, NERON Projects, Communications etc.
5 Technician	Grants 1 daily for free repairs, vastly improves repair chances and allows to dismantle various objects for material, as well as reinforce them against sabotage.

A doctor of both medicine and biology, Finola's life's work revolves around making the world a better place. Her research and healing skills make her invaluable on board.

Finola is nearly always found in Laboratory or Medlab. Due to her Biologist and Medic skills she is the primary researcher of the Deadalus - but never without the Stainproof Apron for her unique Trait Germaphobe. If she picks up Nurse she is the main healer on board, even more effective when paired with Medic.

Finola earns +3 for every completed piece of Mush research.

Loses 1 per cycle if Dirty, and cannot caress Schrödinger.

Skill	Description
1 Biologist	Grants a +4% bonus to Research efficiency, and allows to read the properties of medicines.
2 Medic	Boosts any Heal actions by +2 , allows to carry out surgery anywhere with a Medikit, grants a +4% bonus to Research efficiency, and allows to read the properties of medicines.
3 Nurse	Grants 1 daily which allows to perform a healing action for free, and allows to read the properties of medicines.
4 Diplomat	Disables the possibility of any Combat events during expeditions, and allows to declare a Ceasefire once per game.
5 OCD	Functions as an innate Stainproof Apron, protecting against most ways of becoming Dirty.

Frieda is Humanity's most experienced astrophysicist. Her life's work has been discovering new planets and systems. She was born over 1000 years ago and is a true survivor!

Frieda is the ship's navigator and will spend most of her time on the bridge. Her Astrophysicist and IT Expert skills make her the most efficient at scanning planets, while Survivalist and Pilot allow her to lead an expedition once they reach the planet.

Frieda earns +2 for every planet she discovers using the AstroTerminal (with diminishing returns).

Frieda earns +1 when she pilots a spacecraft to an alien planet.

6 Antique Perfume	Grants 2 cycles of Mush immunity after taking a shower.

An eccentric billionaire, caffeine-junkie and owner of the Daedalus, his fortune is threatened by the Mush menace. He will do everything in his power to wipe it out. Not to be underestimated!

Gioele earns +3 every time a Mush is killed.

Skill	Description
1 Solid	Adds +1 damage to unarmed attacks, and negates the Burdened status when carrying heavy items, allowing regular movement.
2 Paranoid	Grants 2 additional Cameras, which allows to supervise more of the ship's rooms.
3 Caffeine Junkie	Gains a +2 bonus when drinking a Coffee.
4 Astrophysicist	Grants a boost in Astrophysics, allowing to scan for planets for 1 less , and uncovering 1 extra zone when analyzing planets.
5 Panic	When at least half the crew is Mush, increases and gains by +1 every cycle.
6 Victimizer	Allows you to accuse a crewmember at a time, worsening their action success chances and turning all of their Covert actions into Secret actions. Grants you a +8 bonus if an accused Mush dies, and a -8 malus if an accused human dies.

A passionate and dedicated researcher whose knowledge of alien plant-life is unparalleled. A strict pacifist, he's the 'nice guy' on board.

Ian is the ship's botanist and is often found in the lab. Combining Botanist, Green Thumb and Frugivore makes him the best gardener aboard the Daedalus and he can boost research progress thanks to his Biologist skill.

Ian gains +3 for every alien fruit he plants in a HydroPot.

All aggressive actions cost +2 when Ian is in the room.

Skill	Description
1 Botanist	Grants 2 daily, which allow to perform gardening actions for free. Can see when exactly plants will mature and read the effects of alien fruit. Grants a bonus alien fruit if present during an expedition Harvest event.
2 Biologist	Grants a +4% bonus to Research efficiency, and allows to read the properties of medicines.
3 Mycologist	Removes a Spore from any crewmember you heal with the Medikit.
4 Green Thumb	Grants 2 additional HydroPots, and reduces the time grafted hybrid plants need to mature.
5 Firefighter	Always succeeds at using the Extinguisher to extinguish fires.
6 Frugivore	Gains a +2 bonus when eating alien fruit, +1 when eating Bananas

In charge of communication in a global sense, she has highest-level access to NERON. Her solid IT and psychoanalytical skills are crucial for the voyage.

Janice is the main source for on the deadalus, so she will be staying most time in one of the dorms. She is also first selected for being NERON Administrator and therefore responsible for setting the BIOS Terminal parameters. As IT Expert she can participate in NERON and Research projects, as Diplomat she is very valuable for Expeditions.

Janice earns +3 every time you meet any extra-terrestrial creature.

Allows access to the BIOS Terminal and the usage of the /neron chat command to impersonate NERON.

Skill	Description
1 Shrink	Grants +1 per cycle to anybody lying on a bed in the same room as you, as well as attempting to cure any psychological disorders they have. Allows to Comfort other characters for +2 per .
2 IT Expert	Grants 2 daily, which can be used in a myriad of ways, including Research, NERON Projects, Communications etc.
3 NERON's only friend	All crewmembers always progress NERON Projects at the maximum possible efficiency (i.e. 18% what would usually be 12%-18%).
4 Diplomat	Disables the possibility of any Combat events during expeditions, and allows to declare a Ceasefire once per game.
5 Radio Expert	Doubles the effectiveness of your tries to establish contact with Sol while also improving all crewmembers' odds while on the Bridge.
6 Self-sacrifice	When your drops to 0, you lose 1 every cycle instead of committing suicide.

Chief pilot of the Daedalus, Hua specializes in exploration missions. They say she can land where she wants, when she wants, and in any conditions you care to dream up.

A born leader, Jin Su is the supreme commander of the Daedalus. He is in charge of piloting the ship. - Towards planets for expeditions and, most importantly, towards Eden.

3 Cold Blooded	Any time a crewmember dies, you gain a bonus of 3 .
4 Shooter	Grants 2 daily, which allow to fire any kind of weapon (including Patroller guns and Turrets}} for free. Increases chances for a lethal headshot and decreases chances of a critical miss.
5 Logistics Expert	Grants +1 to a crewmember in the same room as you every cycle.
6 Strateguru	At a chance of 50%, reduces the number of new hunters in every wave by 33%.

An astrophycisist and the ship's designer, Kuan Ti knows it like the back of his hand and has privileged access to NERON. If a Nexus project is underway, you can be sure he is involved!

Brilliant biologist and hardcore rebel markswoman, she is driven by the need to recontact Kivanç Terzi. Her technical and logistical skills are highly prized.

Quantum Physics genius, her vast skillset renders her indispensable on board. Some say her tears are flammable and that she once kicked a giraffe to death. All we know is that she's called Raluca.

The ship's seclusive, cat-loving head of engineering, a genius at all things technical and the only person who truly understands the PILGRED reactor. Her help is essential in the difficult tasks of getting both PILGRED and the Plasma Shield back online.

Raluca earns +2 for every 20% of the PILGRED repairs successfully completed.

• Trait: Antisocial

Cannot flirt, and loses 1 if anybody else is present in the same room during cycle change.

1 Physicist	Grants 1 per day, which allows progressing PILGRED Reactor repairs for free. Also severely improves PILGRED repair efficiency.
2 Detached Crewmember	When a crewmember dies, you lose no and aren't struck by any psychological disorders.
3 Technician	Grants 1 daily for free repairs, vastly improves repair chances and allows to dismantle various objects for material, as well as reinforce them against sabotage.
4 Genius	Once per game, allows to carry out a piece of Research, a NERON Project or a repair.
5 Designer	Grants 2 daily, which allow to progress NERON Project research free of cost.

Roland is a brilliant pilot who is not nearly as funny as he thinks he is. However, his dogfighting skills are no laughing matter. He's got a gift, and he's never happier than when he's shooting down Hunters.

The most dangerous cook in the galaxy is on board. He has more black-belts than pairs of trousers and he collects roadkill. Alien flesh is like catnip to Stephen. We thought you should know.

5 Apprentice	Enables you to copy a Skill of any crewmember in the room once per game.

Don't be fooled by his appearance, Terrence is amongst the most agile crew members, albeit mentally. Next-generation robotics and UAVs are his bread and butter.

Terrence is a real allround-talent with the unique Disabled-Trait. If he has some help from crew-members he is one of the most important persons for carrying things around. As soon as there is scrap metal available, his drones can help a lot in the later game. With his skillset he can fit nearly every role which is missing.

Terrence gains +4 for each Support Drone upgrade he performs.

Gains 2 less during - conversions. Moving between rooms is free if somebody else is present in the room.

Hyperactive head of the security team, Chao insists that sleep is for the weak. A trigger happy lunatic, the story goes that he once tore a man's arms off for suggesting his choice of weaponry was 'a bit camp'...

Chao is in charge of security aboard the ship. His Shooter and Wrestler skills give him the highest offensive capabilities out of all the crew members and his Crazy Eye skill acts as his shield. He also possesses the unique Torturer skill, allowing him to extract information from unwilling crew members.

Chao gains +3 from killing anybody, even including Schrödinger.

• Trait: Hyperactive

Gains +1 every cycle, however sleeping in a bed grants no additional .

5 Crazy Eye	Increases the cost of all Aggressive actions aimed at you by 2 .
6 Intimidating	Allows you to intimidate another crewmember for 1 , making them lose 2 and 4 .

Our last hope. She must survive and make the journey to Eden. She inspires the crew to achieve more, and when misfortune befalls her comrades she is always there to patch them up.

Chun is the one to lead and coordinate the Mush-Hunt for she is Immunized and can always be trusted. Therefore she is in fact the real leader of the ship. She will stay most of the time near Laboratory for her precence is needed for several Research projects. If she has Nurse, she is the other main healer besides Finola.

Chun gains +1 per day.

• Objective: The Precious

Chun gains +4 for each completed Research that requires her presence.

• Trait: Immunized

Chun is completely immune to the Mush parasite, and thus always a confirmed human.

Skill	Description
1 Mankind's only hope	At day change, all crew members lose 1 less as long as you are alive.
2 Nurse	Grants 1 daily which allows to perform a healing action for free, and allows to read the properties of medicines.
3 Premonition	At the cost of 1 , reveals the last action of the targeted crewmember.
4 Sneak	Allows you to ignore any Guardian characters and reduces the success chance of unarmed attacks against you by 25%.
5 Lethargy	After you've laid down for 4 consecutive cycles, every following cycle spent lying down will restore a bonus 1 to you. This chain breaks when a cycle change is spent away from a bed.
