Room Logs & Privacy Level
Every action gets logged in the room for later viewing. However, not everyone can see the log of every action. Be sure you're familiar with your action's log's privacy level before doing them, as there are some things you might just want to keep a secret. Simply put, there are multiple levels of privacy:

Actions that leaves no log whatsoever, and is thus invisible to everyone, including yourself.

Covert (Furtive) |
Logs that are only visible if action is committed in the presence of installed cameras (100% guarantee), or a person with Observant (25% chance). When a person is afflicted by Victimizer, all their Covert actions turn into Secret.

Secret (Discrete) |
Logs that are visible if action is committed in the presence of a camera or another person, doesn't matter Mush or Unknown Character. The Observant skill allows the owner to sometimes detect a Secret action that was committed in the room, past or present. However, its usefulness in this regard is limited as it doesn't show what action was committed, who commited them, or when it was commited.

A general guideline to follow in identifying the privacy of actions:
- If you can't see your own action, neither can anybody else. (Exception:
Observant can see in what direction characters leave rooms, although they can't in the log)
- If a Covert/Secret action is revealed to you, so it is to everybody else.
- If a message refers to "You" in second person, only you can see it.
So, does this mean any
Private or
Mush level actions are always safe to carry out? Not necessarily. A person with
Torturer can force you to spit out your last few actions, regardless of privacy level for 1
! The number of actions that gets revealed increases (up to 8) as your
goes down. The reason why this skill bypasses privacy is because it doesn't reveal logs...it reveals actions. In addition to that, the
Premonition skill allows the owner to see the last action of a person in the same room, at the cost of 2
. Like
Torturer, it bypasses privacy levels as it views actions.
Also, keep in mind that a single action can produce multiple logs at different privacy levels. For example, when you infect the cat, the entire room sees you cuddling the cat (like normal) as a Public log. However, there'll also be a
Private/
Mush log for yourself.
Other thing you should keep in mind about room logs:
Tracker allows the owner to view room logs in the last 16 cycles. Everyone else can only view them for 8 cycles. (Note that even you can't view logs of your own actions after they disappear).
