Observe your crew before taking this skill as it only helps with tasks that have a chance to fail. It's the closest thing Eleesha and Hua have in terms of a combat skill.

The chance of success in subsequent tries is always improved by the same multiplier. For example, if the multiplier of an attempted action is 1.5, and the initial success rate is 10%, then the 2nd try improves it to 15%, the 3rd to 22% (always rounded down), the 4th to 33%, and so on. The Determined skill increases this multiplier slightly.
