Besides doing a LOT of damage to the Mush (6-13 
), which easily overcomes protecton, this weapon has the unique ability that it does less damage to humans.
This can be used to reliably identify a human by the relatively small amount of healing required after a hit, or the amount of actions shown by Chao's 
Torturer ability.
It cannot, however, reliably identify a Mush, as it may cause up to 3 injuries (with additional damage) in one shot, even to humans.
It can also cause instant death by headshot, especially when a 
Shooter is using it.
And people will not be happy about you gambling with their lives. So use it with care.
