Privacy Levels

Room Logs & Privacy Level

Every action gets logged in the room for later viewing. However, not everyone can see the log of every action. Be sure you're familiar with your action's log's privacy level before doing them, as there are some things you might just want to keep a secret. Simply put, there are multiple levels of privacy:

Invisible > Private > Mush > Covert/Furtive > Secret/Discreet > Public

• Invisible: Actions that leaves no log whatsoever, and is thus invisible to everyone, including yourself.
• Private: Logs that only you can see.
• Mush: Logs that are only visible to other Mush on the ship.
• Covert/Furtive: Logs that are only visible if action is committed in the presence of installed cameras (100% guarantee), or Eleesha's Observer skill (25% chance). For a person who is afflicted by Gioele's Judge skill, all their Covert/Furtive actions turn into Secret/Discrete.
• Secret/Discrete: Logs that are visible if action is committed in the presence of a camera or another person, doesn't matter Mush or Human. Eleesha's Observer skill allows her to sometimes detect a Secret/Discrete action that was committed in the room, past or present. However, its usefulness in this regard is limited as it doesn't show what action was committed, who commited them, or when it was commited.
• Public: Logs that are visible to everyone.
• Special: Logs that have its own unique rules.

So, does this mean any Private or Mush level actions are always safe to carry out? Not necessarily. Chao can have the Torture skill, which for 1 AP, he can force you to spit out your last few actions, regardless of privacy level! The number of actions that gets revealed increases as your HP goes down, up to 8. The reason why this skill bypasses privacy is because it doesn't reveal logs...it reveals actions.

Also, keep in mind that a single action can produce multiple logs at different privacy levels. For example, when you infect the cat, the entire room sees you cuddling the cat (like normal) as a Public log. However, there'll also be a Private/Mush log for yourself.

Other thing you should keep in mind about room logs: Eleesha's Tracker skill allows her to view the logs in the last 16 cycles. Everyone else can only view them for 8 cycles. (Note that even you can't view logs of your own actions after they disappear).

• Infectious cuddle (only appears as a normal cuddle)

Private

• Most failed actions (repairing, dismantling, searching, extinguishing a fire...)
• Earning/Losing ////: You have earned [amount] //// / You have lost [amount] ////
• Taking a shower
• Getting dirty: Disgusting... You're filthy. (Not like that. Although...)
• Watering plants
• Dropping or picking up your Walkie Talkie, Tracker, or iTrackie
• Catching an illness
• Advancing a NERON project
• Scanning a planet (not to be confused with "analysing a planet")
• Using the Hacker Kit (terminal access is also private after hacking)
• Chao's torture (only visible to him, not the victim)
• Chun's premonitions
• Healing yourself
• Recovering from a physiological illness
• Using the Spore Sucker
• Using the Mycoscanner
• Being cured by the serum

Mush

• Trapper-ed object triggered: [Victim] was infected by using [trapped object] trapped by [trapper]. The level of contamination is now [level].
• Contaminated object eaten: [Victim] was infected by a ration contaminated by [trapper]. The level of contamination is now [level].

Covert/Furtive

• Demoralizing
• Slime trap
• Nightmarish
• Bacteriophile
• Radio pirate (You do not need to be alone with your target for this action.)

Secret/Discreet

• Eating
• Drinking coffee
• Eating a pill
• Extracting oxygen or fuel from the tanks
• Hiding an object
• Spore Extraction: [Mush] has removed a spore. It's truly repulsive. And the smell...
• Sabotage
• Pyromaniac
• Trapper-ed an object: [Trapper] seemed to have suspiciously slipped something onto [trapped object].

Public

• Leaving/Entering a room: [Person] entered the room / [Person] left the room.
• Taking/Dropping an item: [Person] has picked up [object] / [Person] has dropped [object].
• Discovering a hidden item: [Person] has discovered a hidden [object].
• Sleeping/Waking: [Person] is lying down... It's good to just stop and take a break. Destination : the land of dreams! / [Person] wakes up calmly...
• Taking off/Landing a patrol ship: [Person] has just taken off / [Person]'s patrol ship has just landed.
• Accessing any terminal: [Person] has accessed the [terminal].
• Advancing Pilgred Repairs: [Person] has advanced the PILGRED repairs.
• Shrink curing an illness: The session is a success, [patient] has been cured of their disease ([illness]). [Shrink] is really happy.
• Shrink using 'comfort' action
• Healing someone else
• Symptoms of an illness (vomiting, scratching, sneezing)
• Curing a physiological illness
• Cuddling with Schrödinger: [Person] gave Schrödinger a big cuddle, much to his displeasure, but in any case it always makes people feel better...
• Analysing a planet (not to be confused with "scanning a planet"): [Person] carried out analysis on [planet]...
• Flirting and doing the thing
• Successful actions (repairing, extinguishing fires, searching, dismantling, destroying a hunter...)
• Installing a camera
• Taking off with a patrol ship
• Completing a lab research
• Mutating

Special

• Direction of movement: [Person] entered the room from [location] / [Person] left the room towards [location]. This can only be seen by Eleesha's Tracker skill.
• Attacking someone (even failed attempts): Public, however, if the attacker has the Ninja skill, unarmed attacks become anonymous i.e. can see the attack, but doesn't say who is doing the attacking.
• Removing a camera: If you have the Nimble Fingers skill, then it's Secret/Discreet. Otherwise, it is Public.
• Infecting/spiking someone (It's a Covert/Furtive action, but is revealed if Mycoalarms is installed in the room.) [Mush] approached [victim] in a predatory manner... and spiked them discretely!
