Medic as soon as she can. She'll lose a bonus on certain NERON projects in exchange for bonus healing and the ability to perform surgery. Of course, taking both means you get two research bonuses. Ian can contribute a bit more after he waters his precious bananas and Paola can speed up research after she finished phoning her boyfriend.
