Andie seems to be a person of many [[Skills|skills]], but also torn between several responsibilities.

While having the potential to be an excellent {{Skill|pilot}}, (s)he will often be expected to spearhead the [[Research]] as Finola would, which in turn will not leave much time for other demanding jobs.
Then again, a {{skill|Polyvalent}} Andie is also very good at [[Exploration|Exploration]] (arguably better than {{Character|Hua}}) thanks to the great {{Skill|Diplomat}} bonus, and extra [[Inventory#Fruit|alien fruit]] from being considered a {{Skill|Botanist}}. And being everybody's {{Skill|Confidant}} lets Andie help the ship's morale, as well as help with the {{Character|Mush}} hunt by clearing people of suspicion. Finally, the general {{AP}} bonuses and success chances from having {{Skill|Devotion}} + {{Skill|Expert}} enable him/her to do just about anything better than the average crew member, if needed.

The '''Commander''' [[Navigation|navigates]] the Daedalus using the Command Terminal. The Commander can turn and move the ship to orbit planets or run away from [[Hunters]] as well as issue missions to the crew.

At the cost of 1 {{AP}} the Commander can issue a mission once per day. Missions can only be given to [[characters]] with whom you can communicate, either by being in the same room, via {{Item|Walkie Talkie}}/{{Item|iTrackie}} or having the {{Status|Brainsync}} status. The mission description is for flavor and is not binding. The character who accepts the mission receives 3 {{AP}} and a [[File:Info.png]] notification with a description of the mission in the [[File:Tip.png]] Tips channel.

As long as the missions are not rejected, a character can save up several missions for usage at once, since they stack and do not expire. If the selected character rejects the assigned mission, they do not receive any {{AP}}, yet the ''Commander'' still loses the {{AP}} spent issuing the mission. However, they are refunded the right to issue a mission on the same day.

The '''NERON Administrator''' carries favor with the Daedalus' computer intelligence [[File:Neron.png]] '''NERON'''. The administrator has the ability to access multiple options and change the settings for how the ship's artificial intelligence behaves through the [[BIOS Terminal]].

The NERON Administrator also has the ability to post messages to the ship from NERON by entering ''/neron <your message here>''. Note that the command needs to be all lower case in order to work correctly.
